Day 1: Arrival at Arusha or Moshi

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and meet our team. Transfer to your hotel or lodge in Arusha or Moshi. The rest of the day is free to relax, recover, and prepare for the safari starting the next morning.

Day 2: Arusha National Park

Depart from your hotel and explore Arusha National Park. Spot buffalo in Ngurdoto Crater, flamingos at Momela Lakes, and wildlife including giraffes, zebras, colobus monkeys, leopards, and hyenas. Enjoy a picnic lunch amid rolling hills and woodlands. Return to your hotel in the evening.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

Drive to Tarangire National Park for game viewing. The park is famous for its high elephant population, baobab-strewn landscapes, and unique dry season wildlife gatherings along Tarangire River. Overnight stay at a lodge inside or near the park.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park

Visit Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its birdlife, groundwater forests, and algae-streaked hot springs. Watch for tree-climbing lions, large mammals, and enjoy the dramatic Rift Valley cliffs. Overnight in a nearby tented camp.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Travel to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, a famous archaeological site. Enjoy game drives in the vast plains, spotting giraffes, elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeest, and more. December–February may coincide with the great migration. Overnight in the Serengeti.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park

Full day in Serengeti. Visit Hippo Pools, Kopjes, and open plains. Spot resident animals like lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and abundant bird species. Enjoy expert-guided game drives and end the day in camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater

Morning game drive in Serengeti before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Drive around the crater rim and descend into the crater to spot lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and leopards. Overnight at a lodge or camp within Ngorongoro.

Day 8: Return to Arusha or Moshi

After breakfast, return to Arusha or Moshi. Spend the morning relaxing or visiting local attractions such as the Maasai Market before concluding your Northern Tanzania Safari 8 Days.
